Kathleen Golden, MA has 40 years of training and experience in social work, education, psychological counseling, teaching/mentoring in the practice of Nonviolent Communication and the facilitation of spiritual practices including meditation, silent retreats, Reiki Natural Healing, and relationship as a spiritual path.
Kathleen and her husband Peter, have created the Volcano Rainforest Retreat, situated in a serene native rainforest in Volcano, on the Big Island of Hawaii. They offer intimate workshops and retreats for individuals and couples to cultivate compassion, facilitate psychological growth and development and deepen spiritual awareness. Kathleen values mutual empowerment in partnership and community life and is committed to creating a relationship cherishing culture.
She is particularly gifted in fostering personal and interpersonal growth through a blend of psychological and spiritual counseling, empathic coaching and hands-on healing.
Kathleen offers:
- 1-3 hour individual and/or couple sessions to explore mental and emotional issues and deep healing of the
subconscious body/mind through Reiki energy work.
~ Couples counseling with a focus on relationship as a spiritual practice.
~ Individual counseling with a focus on individuation and self healing. - Phone sessions and /or distant Reiki Healing treatments for those who live in other locations.
- Weekly meditation support group and daylong and weekend silent retreats.
- 1-3 day guided personal retreats in silence and solitude for those who want a deeper spiritual practice.
- Small group gatherings, both at the Volcano Rainforest Retreat in Volcano and other locations upon request.
