We are located in Mauna Loa Estates, across the highway from Volcano Village.

IMPORTANT: Each cottage has their own directions, please click on the name of the cottage you are staying in below for directions to that cottage:

Guest Cottage, Bamboo Guest House, Forest House, Sanctuary Cottage

Directions to the Guest Cottage at Volcano Rainforest Retreat.

• Take highway 11 to Volcano.
• Turn onto Jade Avenue (between the 25 and 26 mile markers.)
• Take Jade Avenue to Twelfth Street (approximately 1 mile.)
• Turn right onto Twelfth Street.
• Proceed to the cedar gated driveway on the right, marked Volcano Rainforest Retreat, Guest Cottage.
• Drive up the driveway to the carport.
• The main house (Golden residence) is on the adjoining property, reached by the path to the right as you face the Cottage door.
• The door to the Guest Cottage will be open. Phone us at 985-8696.
• We will orient you to the Guest Cottage and the retreat grounds.

Directions to the Bamboo Guest House at Volcano Rainforest Retreat.

• Take highway 11 to Volcano.
• Turn onto Jade Avenue (between the 25 and 26 mile markers.)
• Take Jade Avenue to Twelfth Street (approximately 1 mile.)
• Turn right onto Twelfth Street.
• Drive past the next three driveways, marked Volcano Rainforest Retreat.
• Drive to Ruby Street.
• Turn right onto Ruby Street.
• Enter the first driveway on your right, marked by a sign which says the Bamboo Guest House.
• Enter the parking pavillion.
• The door will be open. Phone us at 985-8696, and we'll come over to orient you.

Directions to the Forest House at Volcano Rainforest Retreat.

• Take highway 11 to Volcano.
• Turn onto Jade Avenue (between the 25 and 26 mile markers.)
• Take Jade Avenue to Twelfth Street (approximately 1 mile.)
• Turn right onto Twelfth Street.
• Drive past the cedar-gated entrance, marked Volcano Rainforest Retreat Guest Cottage.
• Drive past the next entrance, marked by the Volcano Rainforest Retreat sign and lava rock pillars.
• Enter the next driveway by the second set of lava rock pillars.
• Pull under the parking pavillion leaving enough room for another car to pull in.
• As you face into the property, walk to the Office on your left.
• We will orient you to the Forest Hale and retreat grounds.

Directions to the Sanctuary Cottage at Volcano Rainforest Retreat.

• Take highway 11 to Volcano.
• Turn onto Jade Avenue (between the 25 and 26 mile markers.)
• Take Jade Avenue to Twelfth Street (approximately 1 mile.)
• Turn right onto Twelfth Street.
• Drive past the cedar-gated entrance, marked Volcano Rainforest Retreat Guest Cottage.
• Drive past the next entrance, marked by the Volcano Rainforest Retreat sign and lava rock pillars.
• Enter the next driveway by the second set of lava rock pillars.
• Pull under the parking pavillion leaving enough room for another car to pull in.
• As you face into the property, walk to the Office on your left.
• We will orient you to the Sanctuary Cottage and retreat grounds.
